MildRobo Telepath Control Robots Apogee & Perigee Bandai Popy 1984 Japan - MildRobo Telepath Control Robots, Apogee & Perigee, a pair of plastic, battery operated robots made in Japan in 1984 by Bandai. Product of Popy. Part no. 0309033. Apogee and Perigee are also known as MildBoy and MildGirl. They supposedly communicate by some sort of cosmic tele-sensory connection. Telepath Control Robots are part of Bandai's vintage mid 1980s MildRobo series of robots. Bandai's parent company Popy is famous for their highly collectible mid 1970s line of Chogokin die-cast metal robot figures. By the early 1980s metal gave way to plastic in the business of toy making, so Popy marketed new lines of collectible Chogokin robot figures under the Bandai brand.
